About

Thanks for your interest in the Winter Park Underpass project. To contact a representative about the Underpass project, please call 970.281.4090.

This unique construction project is ideal for protecting the citizens of Winter Park, specifically on the other side of the Vasquez Rd. railroad crossing & Kings Crossing railroad crossing.

We’ve all been stuck at one of these train crossings before, they’re never fun and the trains can be really long! Have you ever been stuck for more than an hour? There are certain times that a train has to stop and can block BOTH of those intersections.

Thats a very scary thought. What if there was an emergency? Both you and the emergency team have no way to get around. A life or death situation could be determined of a train crossing. That’s just not right.
That is exactly what this project is all about. The citizens of Winter Park need a safe alternative route to bypass the train tracks. We need an underpass. It’s the best solution to this simple problem. We don’t need another whistle-less train crossing on Kings Crossing Rd., we need a new route that can bypass the tracks completely.

Check out our documents page for all the info into why this much welcomed underpass is not being done, and who is trying to prevent it. If we all join together for the safety of our community, great things can happen.
