Proposed Leland Creek Underpass Route

Here’s the proposed route for the Leland Creek Underpass. As you can see from this map, the proposed route creates a safe and convenient route to Highway 40. The underpass will be a much safer railroad crossing. Cars, bicyclists, and pedestrians can safely pass under the tracks, instead of having to pass directly over the tracks, which creates the potential for a train-related accident. Additionally, an underpass means fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency personnel will never get caught at the crossing in the event of an emergency. This route will also be more convenient because it means no one will have to wait for trains to pass.
